I know Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. He came in the flesh, preached the good news, fed the hungry, healed the sick, and suffered and died on the cross to take away our sin – because He loves us. He rose from the dead on the third day so that we might live through Him. He is Lord of all, seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven as He intercedes for us, and He has sent the Holy Spirit to live in the hearts of believers.
All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. I trust in Jesus Christ as my savior, and I rely on the Holy Spirit as my comforter, guide, and helper. The Word is spirit and life, and I read and study His Word and pray for understanding so I can become progressively and more intimately acquainted with the Lord and His ways.
Everyone who believes in Jesus is my brother/sister in Christ, regardless of any differences in doctrine we have. I trust that God will correct any errors we hold in our thinking, whether they be mine or theirs. For now, we know only in part, but someday we will know completely and perfectly. My prayer is that the light of the grace and glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ would shine brightly in all our hearts and fill us to overflowing with His great love.
