First, I want to thank God (and everyone else who’s helped) for making the Millennium Crash promotion so successful. I’ve reached even more new readers than a month ago with the Slowpocalypse sale, and people are still snatching up copies, so I’m leaving it at 99¢ through this weekend as well. If you haven’t grabbed a copy yet, now’s your chance.
As you can see, Millennium Crash did well enough to make it into the top 100 time travel books on the Kindle store – right there next to Douglas Adams and Michael Crichton! – if only for a single shining moment. It doesn’t really mean much, but it certainly gave me a thrill. It also gave the book a bit more visibility for that brief span of time, and the opportunity to reach more readers. *Update - the book has continued to climb the charts today, breaking into the top 40 time travel books on Amazon! (Thanks again.)
Meanwhile, I’ve written past the halfway point in the first draft of Slowpocalypse Book 5, and I’m about halfway through the final draft of Enemies of the Batsu. I find that really exciting too.
