This week I rewrote the prologue and chapters one and two of Watchbearers book 3. I’m finding this, especially these early chapters, more challenging than my previous books, or at least a different kind of challenge. That’s not surprising when I think how I didn’t know the solution to the murders until I neared the end of the first draft. Now I have to make sure all the right details are there so everything makes perfect sense in the end, but without giving too much away. There are elements of mystery in my other stories, so this isn’t completely unfamiliar ground. But it feels very much like new territory.
I also got a nice new review of Millennium Crash from one of the recent giveaway winners. Thanks, Pam.
