Welcome to Outpost Stories.
The primary purpose of this site will be for those of you who’ve read my book (or books) – because I want to hear your feedback. I'm putting the finishing touches on my debut novel right now, and preparing it for publication. I'll let you know as soon as it's available. And I'm already well into the first draft of my next book.
I’m asking for your comments about my writing, both positive and negative. (The criticism will help me improve, so future books can be even better.) And please feel free to ask any questions you have about my stories, either by e-mailing me with the message form or by sharing your thoughts in the comments section of relevant posts.
You can read more about how I deal with your questions and comments on the feedback page, but the gist of it is – rather than respond to you individually, I’m committing to doing regular Q&A posts (at least once a week, if there's anything to respond to.) That way I can respond in a way that includes everyone, allowing all of you to read my responses and participate in the dialogue.
I’ll also be posting monthly progress reports so you can see what I’m working on and how that work is going, so you can have an idea of what books you can look forward to, and when. I also plan to post regular articles about how I approach my writing and the creative process, how I develop the specific stories, and my experiences in publishing these books. I hope to be able to publish a new article every week.
All of this is based on what I’d like to see if I were in your shoes. My guiding principle is this version of the golden rule – I want to provide for you what I would enjoy myself as a reader. If there’s anything else you might be interested in seeing, please speak up, and help me to improve this site.
I hope you enjoy this site and my stories. Please share your thoughts and opinions, so that I can improve both.
